Functional investigation of human genetic variation and development of precision genome editing methodologies using chemical biology

Research in the Komor Lab is centered around the following major pillars:
1) Using "nontraditional" genome editing agents to understand genetic variation
2) Functional investigation of mutations in DNA damage repair genes
3) Development of new precision genome editing technologies
4) Mechanistic study of "nontraditional" genome editing tools
5) Genome editing outreach
